This is how legislature happens! Funny story about this comic... what happened originally is that I got drunk and decided we could shoot a comic without a script. I just sat there with the camera yelling vague directions and Brian and Peter, like "Look up, and look angry... ANGRIER!!"

Then I totally forgot about the pictures until a week or two later when I uploaded some other pictures and found them. And I thought to myself, "Huh... wonder what these pictures are from? I think I can make a comic out of them."

Then I told Brian about my discovery and he laughed.

You guys remember Napoleon Dynamite? I saw it in theaters before it was wicked popular, and then it was EVERYWHERE, and I was just like... "Shut up, we all get it."

ANYWAY, I watched it tonight with Brian, Peter, and his cousin Livia, and it turns out that it's EXACTLY the sort of movie you need to not think about for several years after the hype and then watch again. Good movie.

Well, we're finally back home in Boston after an epic journey. I must say it feels good to be back. So good, we're gonna post a new comic!

This is part 1 of a 3-part story, but it didn't start that way. I had this idea for a one-comic story that was so much fun to write, I realized that I'd already gotten to panel 5 and hadn't gotten around to the joke I was trying to make. Writing is fun like that sometimes.

We are updating our most recent comic ON THE ROAD. Saturday night we saw my friend Lauren perform in a Tribute to the 60s at the Trpoicana Casino in Atlantic City. Pretty excellent!

So does anyone know what today is? It's my birthday. I'm 23. I'm that much older now. Rockin'.

Yesterday we got into Maryland and the place we're staying at has a grill. So of course we're going to make burgers and hot dogs, right?

Yeah... there was a BLACK GOD DAMN WIDOW in the grill. A BLACK WIDOW SPIDER. Let me emphasize this point... A LETHAL BLACK WIDOW SON OF A BITCH SPIDER.

Background... I'm arachnophobic.

So we're chilling in Maryland, we expect some crazy hijinks, and you should too!

Well, those are some nice new neighbors, don't ya think? I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of them soon enough!

Well this week is gonna be different for us. Don't worry, we'll still be updating! But Peter, Brian, Dan and I are going on a vacation to the bays of Maryland: Scenic Gateway to the Atlantic!
