Oh, hello!

So that was our first week of updates! Now we're going into our second week of comics, and boy is it exciting! Today's comic is called "We Might Go to Hell For This One," and it's inspired by true events. I'd like to give a shout out to my second cousin Lou D. and his brother Will. Rock out little guys... rock out.

Love,
Mike!

And so the first week of regular updates concludes with "The Unbearable Lightness of Eating"...

Many thanks to all of you who have been following us thus far. If you enjoy what you see then tell your friends! If not - well too bad.

Rock on,

Hello readers! Big news here at "The World Wasn't Meant"... big news.

First of all, we went to the New England Webcomics Weekend in Easthampton, MA! It was an incredible time. We got to meet some of our favorite artists, like Chris Hastings (Dr. McNinja), Joey Comeau and Emily Horne (A Softer World), Randall Munroe (XKCD), Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics), Jorge Cham (PhD), Jeph Jacques (Questionable Content), and Zach Weiner (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal). Chris drew me a picture of Dr. McNinja which was awesome because it was the first webcomic I ever read religiously. Randall sketched a picture of me asking for him to draw my picture... funny guy. I also got Joey Comeau's new book, "Overqualified." It's the funniest thing I've read in months, you have to check it out. Dan asked Zach for a picture, and he started drawing a girl, but then it looked like Batman, so Dan asks "Is that Batman?" Long story short, Batman is now a stunning blond with ruby red lips.

We also met a fellow newer artist, Alex Bettigole, who draws "Oak Street Wilds." The best way to describe it is a sort of Calvin and Hobbes and Samurai Jack combination. Essentially, it's awesome. Check it out! We also met a ton of other brilliant cartoonists that we will tell you all about soon, but Alex gets a special mention cause he joined our foursome for the weekend. We even shot a comic featuring him as a guest star, so keep an eye out for that.

The other HUGE news, and I mean HUUUUGE news is that we are OFFICIALLY LAUNCHING OUR WEBCOMIC. Our first scheduled comic, "Magnets", is now up - check it out! This marks the dawn of a new age where "The World Wasn't Meant" gets updated 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Remember this day, and remember it well, because from now on, time will be referred to as Before TWWM or After TWWM.

Read on, dear readers... read on.

Love, Mike!

OK, so we broke our promise and decided to post a new comic. Enjoy "And the Oscar Goes To..." and get ready for our official launch on Monday when we begin updating regularly.

Hey everyone! Two things... first, we wanted to mention the New England Webcomics Weekend for giving us a foreseeable goal. Before Peter brought this to our attention, we were just aimlessly making comics with a vague timeline of 'sometime in 2 or 3 months'. This thing is getting so much attention that they'll probably have one next year which is great news. So anywho, check it out!

The second scrap of info is that we now have a Facebook Page! It's proven pretty effective at getting people's attention so far, and the more people that join, the even more people find out about us.

We should be able to get our Character Bios page up and running within 24 hours. We'll keep you posted!

Love, Mike!

Hello and welcome to The World Wasn't Meant! This is a webcomic based on a true story about me and my friends. This first week, we're in a state of 'semi-launch' so these first six comics will have to hold you for now. Starting on Monday, March 23rd, we will update every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

So enjoy! Tell your friends about us, or we'll tell your friends about you. I speak of course, of slander.

Love, Mike!
